Our self guided walks take you through time in the area of Zarnata, a land of monasteries, castles, towers, and Mycean tombs. We use wherever possible the ancient track ways that link the villages, known as kalderimi. Discover lost villages, ancient wells and springs, hear the story of the revolution and stand on the same path as Achilles when he saw the ships of Greece leave for Troy. This is the real Greece, local tavernas, traditional Greek cooking, home made wine, excellent olive oil and where the only traffic jams are caused by sheep and goats.
The walking holidays take place in March until July
and September until the end of November. The walks are well signposted, and are mostly moderate.
We have a range of excellent self catering accommodation, ranging from villas with pools to village houses.
Special offer For March an April 2012.
